Well it has been a long winter as you all know, and during that time my calls were in the large brooder coop. I would have liked to have gotten them separated about a month ago when they started laying but there was too much snow and it was too cold to put them in their breeding pens. Well this weekend was actually nice and I was able to get them all separated so in two weeks I am going to have pure eggs. Here are pics of all my colors, enjoy.

Forgive me, but some of the ducks look a little ratty, it has rained the better part of today.
The anonas are a work in progress, some of our ducks, I am not sure from which pen, popped up with some black in the white, the wife liked it so "we" decided to try and see if we can develop it.
The snowys are a little disappointing. they looked better when I bought them but now I am not please, the color is wrong and they do not have very good conformation so I am looking for a better pair.
I forgot about the grey pied, I will have to get the pics tomorrow. Enjoy anyway.

So many gorgeous dudckies!! They are all so tiny and cute- and gorgeous colours to. Are you going to incubate their eggs- or let them do it themselves?? Either way- you have to post some more pics once the babies start arriving.

Most we incubate ourselves, we tried letting the parents do it a few times, but after they abandoned the nest halfway through and we were out that clutch we decided not to. However, the blue butterscotch does a great job so we usually let her. I think last year she had two clutches of nine eggs and hatched out eight each time, so she can set.
Yes, you can never have too many calls, this whole project started out with a pair of whites that the wife wanted as pets since they were so cute. Now it is close to forty animals.
