Oh. I notice that many of my day lilies and tiger lilies send offshoots that become new plants.

They spread that way but will be the same plant. if it's pollenated by a same type plant Diploid or a tetraploid of a different species and you are successful growing it becomes a new flower to its own.

Daylily's anyway...not sure all are. you will atleast receive a double fan. if your suppliers is nice sometimes you receive 3 or 4 fans.

no, one individual is a fan of about 5 to 6 fingers. A double Fan is two plants. I separate them when I get about 10 to 15 fans together.

this is close to ours but not our flower. I don't have a current pic and it don't bloom until Mid July. the blue in ours fades to a Darker purple.

You are hurting me here. I have not bought a new day lily in so long b/c I don't have the room. Obviously, more advancement has been made in breeding since I last bought some. That lily is simply too gorgeous for words.
