Well I figured after two full days of struggling , I would help out the three eggs I had hatching....two survived and one was already dead before I got to it.

The chicks are very weak but are chirping very loudly my issue with them is that both of them have horribly crooked necks and thier toes seem to be curled....and one chick isn't opening one of its eyes. the have been only out of the egg for about a hour now and I thought they would fall asleep.. but they are stumbling around the incubator and chirping every chance they get.

I can see on the older chick the toes are already straightening out.. will thier necks do the same??? Should I try to give them vitamins or is it to early for that.... what about the eye.. I am figuring it is just pated shut with some goo from hatching. They did absord thier yolk.

Thanks

Give them a couple of days to stretch and begin eating and drinking before becoming overly concerned. If their toes are still curled tomorrow, put magic shoes on them for a few days.

Thank you for your reply... The one is really showing improvement since I posted last.. the other one is on its back with its toes all curled up.. he is full of energy.. but just really weak....I am going to turn out the light and go to sleep....nothing for me to do for them tonight might as well let them get some rest and let mother nature take her course.
