Finally here!!

I have a feeling that I am going to be up a lot tonight. They seem warm enough, a few even got into the waterer and got wet but I think because they are babies I am still going to feel like I have to go out and check on them often to make sure they are doing okay. Does the new baby syndrome ever go away?

I got 25 rainbow layers on Monday. My father in law wants some meaties. I think I will wait to get them until these are going next door to the coop stall and out of the brooder stall. good idea to keep them separate fo the kids. Although my father-in-law will have to be doing the "[rocessing" for us. I'm not so good at things like that......

I don't blame you I can't do it either. We have a person come in to do the actually "killing" but once that is done we can do the rest of the stuff I just have a very hard time actually killing them myself.

So far we are on day 2 and everyone is alive. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it stays that way.
