Your BF sounds like my DH! He will not buy any acreage because he says "You will just fill it up!" He's probly right, can you tell he is not an animal person?

Love the pics, I also have to use a dog kennel till I get a coop built for all my chicks and ducks, they make great yards for babies that are to small to roam free.
Love the donkey our neighbor has one and I have been asking my hubby for one but with 17 hens,1 roo,5 dogs,3 ducks,2 birds - he thinks we have enough animals ( i will keep trying to get my donkey lol )

My donkey protects everything, they are territorial, use that as your argument. I have a huge family of Coyote's living nearby and with my big dogs and donkey, I never have pest or preditor problems!!!

my BF teases me about filling the place, but really he wouldn't mind, he's an animal lover too, and a softy for a needy animal, but tries to hide it.
