Finally joined BYC! Virginia Chicken Mama

I have 24 eight and a half week old chicks. I have been using BYC as a resource done they arrived April 10. Since I find myself wanting to compare my flock to others this is the best place I have found for information. Thanks for maintaining this site and allowing open participation. Love it! Love my girls and boys... Ugh I know I have 3 cockerls, maybe 5, oh my. Not sure what to do with the excess roosters.... Christmas Dinner?

I am trying to find a home for them but nobody wants roosters. They are so cute and in my heart now. Not sure I can do the deed come Christmas. Eventually though plan to raise some for meat. Currently getting started on Egg production.
