Finally Joined! Hello from Anacortes WA!

After having chickens for 10 years, and going through the ups and downs while using this website to answer any questions, I finally joined! I recently lost my old flock to a freakish midday fox attack starting over fresh with some leghorns, RIRs, NHRs, and banty cochins!

(I've never had bantams!) Excited to be part of the online community finally!

So sorry for your loss. Fox are out any time of day or night out here. They are very clever and persistent. You may want to visit the predator threads for your advice on protecting your flock.
