We got chickens last year - a mixed bunch and love them all. We added to our flock in March and are having a lot of fun with our new pets.

Too many according to my husband ! lol
(3) What breeds do you have?
I love our large breed cochins but we have a large assortment of many breeds - they all get along and have bonded into a tight group.

I wanted chickens for a long time and researched what it would take to have a backyard flock. This site was incredibly helpful - all my questions answered in one resource. I love BYC. !!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I like knitting and crafts. Reading is not my hobby it is just part of living, I go to our library a lot.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Mom to 3 girls and a stay at home mom for now.
