My Wyandotte turned a year old yesterday and just today she finally laid her first egg! We were beginning to think she never would lol.

This makes me so happy to hear! My midnight maran is nearly 11 months old and taking her sweet time. Been squatting for months but no eggs to date!
 
Congrats! That’s so exciting 🥳 A few years back I had a wynadotte named Crystal and she consistently gave us double yolks! Don’t know why, exactly, but hoping the same for you :D
