Finally made my run walk-in height!

After dealing with the 4' height of my chickens' run since I've had them last year, I finally raised the height up to a little over 6' at the front and about 5 and half foot at the rear. My design worked great other than it was too low to easily gain access to. I'm 6'2", so I still have to duck my head a little, but it's hardly an issue. It's so much easier to get in and out. I was able to reuse most of the run I had already built. I covered the sides with chicken wire again as opposed to hardware cloth as I've had zero issues with it.

Really nice improvement!

Thanks, it's been so much easier to live with. Cleaning the run, filling the feeder and waterer is so much easier. Its also nice to be able to walk in and sit with the chickens for a few minutes a day. It does a great job at keeping the rain out. We had a very heavy storm the other day and it was only slightly muddy toward the back where the rain runs off.
