finally -- mille fleur bantam cochin chick pics!

Okay, FINALLY here are pics of my mille fleur bantam cochin chicks. This covers their lives from day 0 to day 14.

Four chicks hatched. You can see that two of the chicks were more rufous colored than the other two from the very start. One of the rufous chicks died at about 2 days of age. You can see that the other is now growing ruddy feathers, while the other two chicks are growing dark grey mottled feathers. Not what I expected!

I need to get new update pics of them, as well. They just keep getting more beautiful every day!

very good breaks on them, will be breeding them next year as well, might put a blue rooster carrying mo to some of my pullets...
