I have been scouring this community daily now for months to help me with my first flock and am embarrassed I am only jumping in to say hi now! I love this site, i love this community and am so grateful for the wealth of knowledge here!
So my girls (10 total) just turned 20 weeks and 2 of them started laying "mini" eggs this week! I have 5 RIR and 5 Americauna.
We live in the high desert hills of Northern Arizona (just moved here last year from CA).
Anyway, wanted to throw my hello in and thank all you chicken loving people for the great advice that has gotten ny girls off to such a good start!
