Finally! New pigeon baby

Finally got a squeaker this morning that was able to hatch on its own! Its out of my pair of archangels. The same ones I had problems with that had lost their previous hatch. Thanks to everyone that offered advice. You guys are great. I'll be sharing pictures, and updates if it makes it during the next few days.

I got the checkers pigeon feed that everyone recommended to feed them. They love it.

And my hungairan baby that hatched the other day is also doing great. He/she is huge for five days old. its parents are lol. They actually fight over who is going to take care of it and when. The dad has kind of turned into a mean butt ever since it hatched. lol.

Bad news abou the angel baby. It was dead this morning. Looks like it may have been accidentally kicked away from the hen when they got in the box with it. Dispointing. but at least the hatching problem seems to be solved. So going to keep trying with them.

My hungarian baby is doing great, and getting its feathers.

I'm sorry to hear about the baby :-( I've had that happen so many times, especially with the first hatches of the year. Sometimes I think my pairs would just forget how to take care of the babies! I just went through the same thing with my dove pairs.

My doves have decided to nest without laying eggs....

I went out and bought some pet dishes with the rounded bottoms for them to nest in. Seems to work good for the hungarians. So hopefully it will help solve the problem with the archangels.
