finally one egg :)

Hi My ladies were born 5/12/09 and on 11/21/09 we finally got an egg. My grandson was just as happy as I was

I brought Johny out to the coop to feed them in the morning. Then at 5pm we tucked them in and found our first egg.

Thanks we are up to 4 eggs now

im like a kid at Chistmas time LOL. Should the eggs go right into the fridge? wasnt sure if there suposed sit for awile. For got should the eggs be stored fat side down or up? Does it really matter? Thanks again . I love this site

It still hasnt gotten old here... and its been since Feb. Doesnt matter which side you have up or down, we keep ours in a bowl. They dont have to be put in the fridge so long as you dont wash them(unless they are poopy). People keep them on boats for months without washing.... Congrats!

if your going to eat them it doesnt matter what side you sit them on-they taste the same either side...LOL...I refridg mine after I clean the stary feathers and dirt off-congrats its awesome huh?
