Hey, turtlechick, nice setup! Silly question, but what kind of hens are the two lighter colored reddish ones? I have one like that that I inherited from the former owner of my coop and have only been able to guess at her breed. I was thinking New Hampshire? Red sexlink?

She's the noisiest one of the bunch, so I'm wondering if yours are too?

the twins are "red stars" from my pet chicken - red sexlinks!

all 4 of the girls are big talkers - not sure who mumbles the most when they're in their house (so funny to eavesdrop on chickens....). i do know that when the hawk was in my yard, it was one of the stars who was sounding the ALARM ALARM ALARM!!! i also know that the same one talks loudest when she's just laid an egg. she's so PROUD PROUD PROUD!
