Finally posting but always enjoyed the BYC resource

We have had chickens for almost a full year. All hens (the roosters met other fates last year): one Buff Orpington, 5 black and brown birds of unknown ancestry. They all lay about an egg a day. We took advantage of the shutdown time to build a coop/shed plus run last spring. Since then we purchased Premier 1 fencing and move it around our suburban 1/2 acre yard to free range the birds. Glad to have the resource of BYC posters and their experience!
