Hello BYC!

I've got hens on the brain-- stay up until the wee hours reading the forums and watching videos of ladies and chickens strolling around back yards.Then i drag myself into work...and read the forum on my lunch hour! I have it bad.

No hens yet-- still living in NYC, but getting ready to pack up this summer for somewhere greener. In the meantime, i'm reading everything i can get my hands on and revising my breed list and coop must-haves every day.

It all started when i started buying eggs from a guy in my office who has a farm upstate with barred rocks, RIRs, australorps, and one spunky sebright rooster. Hearing stories and having those fresh-fresh-fresh eggs started me down this rabbit hole....

So i've been lurking long enough....time to say hello out there!

We love our fresh eggs too! no more store-boughts around here. In NYC you need Seramas to raise indoors!
