Finally!!! Red tomatoes in the garden.

Anybody know what kills tomato plants? No reason...Just curious...

Spook, you're right...I'd never ever trust you...not without fact checking EVERYTHING...

You lookin' for a way to be rid of your tomato's? I've got squirrels I'll sell ya' ON THE CHEAP!!

We've caught one but have found at least 4 more traipsing through the tomato's. And the corn. Traps are set to get the rest and I'd be more than happy to drop them off for ya!

Would you take a trade? I need about 50 of those squirrels...you can have all these *%&! tomatoes...

I'd be thrilled to trade! I'm sitting here with a dining room table full of empty quart canning jars just waiting to get enough tomato's to put some of them up. The squirrels are so fat they can barely walk and are apparently very smart about traps.

Caught one dragging such a huge tomato that he couldn't walk, he could only try to jump forward a bit at a time with it. And, they're getting BRAVER every day.
There's going to be a Great Squirrel Stand-Off real soon!!

Hmm, now that I think about it, you're trying to sell me used squirrels here. They'll be tired of tomatoes by the time they get here. Just lay around scratching themselves in the sun I bet. Do you have any brand new models in stock?

Yep, saw one of the newer models this morning. Was tending the gal's and looked behind me and there was a little guy stealing an ear of corn that was bigger than he was. He'll be bored with corn by the time he gets to you and will be wanting tomato's. I'm pretty sure of it . . .

Hmm, I have no use for corn eating squirrels...(yet) I'm definitely going to need about 100 of those tomato eating squirrels. I definitely need a few. Just drop them off in the garden at night. MFB is old, he goes to bed as soon as it gets dark, so he won't catch you. Once you drop off the tomato eaters, just come on up to the house and get your tomatoes. You can't miss us, we're the ones with tomatoes piled everywhere.

You had better take advantage of that offer and stock up on
'mater earing squirrels while you can, Em.

Her price is gonna go up as soon as the tomatoes up here
start riping.

I'll swing by with my squirrel's in tow after hitting the grocery store and am glad to be able to mark "tomato's" off my grocery list. I'm guessing it's not too far out of my way . . . Virginia to Mississippi. On the other hand, it might be a little later than I anticipated . . .

Well, you could always just plan on staying for dinner. I think we'll probably end up having....tomatoes.

LoL!! Only tomatoes:) Ha ha ha! I just love that!

I got lots of tomatoes this year! I planted two kinds, Brandywine and Zebra. The brandywine are sweeter and BIG!! 2-3 pounds each! My Zebra tomatoes are so good! When they are ready to eat they turn a little yellow and they have green stripes. Wanta see?:)
