Welcome to BYC! Pauley will probably be better off as a rooster since he is your only crested bird. Chickens can be real bullies when there is a one of a kind, especially if the ooak is a crested chicken.

Aww that’s good to know! Poor Pauley, hoping I can find him a good home to live out his days. I knew I was testing my luck getting 13 sexed chicks! Thankfully for now they seem to be getting along as a group but the mischief and flapping has started so I know it’s only time before there’s a clear pecking order.

You've have such cute chicks! You're going to have quite the pretty looking flock.
I used to have a Dominque and she was the sweetest thing and would ask to be put on my lap. She unfortunately passed at a very young age, she suddenly got sick and went downhill quickly. 😢
Every time I've gotten chicks supposed to be pullets, I ended up with at least one cockerel.
