Finally the first egg

I have two 9 month old silkie chicks and 2 roosters. I finally got my first egg, although only 1 I am really egg-cited

Update: just checked again and I have another, look out. Problem is that they are so small I think I need a dozen to make a meal

Ah, the dwarf eggs. They will grow bigger.

They won't get to the size of supermarket eggs, but generally the first eggs are the smallest.
