So I moved my seven 6 week olds out into their new coop this evening. Of course it has started to rain and thunder but I am assuming they will be fine. Does anyone put food and water both in the coop and outside in the run?

The coop portion is completely separate from the run apart from the sliding pull door so they cannot access the run during the night (shown below)

I was planning on hanging the food and water in the run only, but I was thinking that they might need it at night too, just curious what others do

At night all they do is sleep! LOL Mine have been in the coop since Memorial Day weekend. The only time I have put water in the coop is when the temps hit around 100 and the humidity was high. Good luck with ur babies! I like ur coop and run!

I have it in both. Well, I move the food daily as I have one tray.

Mine sometimes spend several hours in the morning in their coop so they need it. At night not so much. I guess it's all your unique situation. My brother withholds food in the tractor so they forage. I give free choice. It's all good. Enjoy!

Really it depends what time you let them out. They will not eat or drink while it is dark, but they will wake up at the crack of dawn, hungry and thirsty.
