Finally treated our bumblefoot hen

We have a hen that has had bumblefoot for over a month. My son and I treated her a month ago by soaking and removing scab from bottom of foot. But she also had big bump on top of foot. The bump never got better.... I tried several times to lance it...no sucess.
Finally caught her tonight , soaked her foot in epsom salts bath for long time, and hubby just barely cut the bump at top, and bottom and this big nasty blob came out. We rinsed out the hole and applied lots of antibiotic cream and wrapped. She already has lost her limp. I have worried about her for along time. I hope this is the last of bumblefoot here!!!!

Make sure you rebandage it and apply antibiotic ointment (without pain killer in it) everyday. Good work!!!
