Finches in close proximity to waterfowl.

We are building a new aviary for finches, quail, and bourke parrots and are planning on extending an aviary from our goose and duck coop. I was wondering if them being near each other, not together, will be okay in terms of giving each other sicknesses. Thanks in advanced.

I have brought my parakeets outside and the ducks have walked up to them. I haven't had them outside for prolonged periods though so I cants ay for a 100% But for the time that they have interacted with the ducks they seemed fine.

Bourke's parrots?

Not sure on that. What species of finch are you planning on keeping? Some finches, such as gouldians, are less tough than others and may pick up diseases. But, I don't have waterfowl, so I wouldn't really know.

I wouldnt risk the airborn diseases your poultry may be carrying

Most likely zebras, diamond doves, bourkes, and society finches.
