Find the Roo —— Is it Chick A, B, C or D???

hi Folks,

I can’t have Roos so need help finding the Roos of the group so I can give them a new home. These are crosses to make olive eggers... cream legbar mixed with a bielfelder.

I have attached the pics and labeled them A through D. They were all hatched the same week.... March 26, so going onto 4 weeks old now. I have been using the color of their combs as a guide.

I am 80% sure A is a Roo.

I think B and C are Ladies.

Totally lost on D... there’s not enough comb for me to go on. This was the last one hatched and is the littlest of the group.


Thoughts???

I agree with your current assessment. No others are popping out as early cockerels. But it is early, you need to wait until 8 weeks at least.

Sorry, not enough coffee today and brain won’t process... whose assessment were you agreeing with? Mine (on the different sexes) or McKennas (it’s too early to tell)?

A is a cockerel for sure.
