making a homemade bator and was wondering if anyone knows where to get an accurate electronic thermostat, not to expensive ??

thanks, angie

I haven't been able to figure this one out either. Keep checking craigslist, ebay, or your local plumbing places. Sometimes they have old water heaters they throw out and would let you have one free. Otherwise... you might have to break down and buy one for around$20.

I want your Lowes! Ours doesn't carry anything cheaper than $18.00

Doesn't Lowe's have a 'ship to store' thing? You might be able to get it online and have it shipped there. I had to hunt for mine, the guy that was working there didn't even know about them!

Im with you, Sara. I love the wafer!! It's right on and not that expensive. It's around $20 and you don't have to deal with searching endlessly for a water heater thermostat that goes down to 90.

Both home depots by me have the water heater thermostat...I'm using in mine right now...3F spread, that's it! $8 @ home depot in the same isle as the water heaters. If you get one look at how i placed mine on my "1st incubation" page. It made a BIG difference.
