Has anyone ever had a crack in their incubator? If so, did you pitch or repair it? The crack is in the water canal and is very fine. So far, no water has seeped out. Is there any glue or boding material that I can use to repair it?
BTW, my warranty expired two months ago

2 months ago? are you serious. that really sucks. As long as water isnt leaking out i cant see a problem. You can try bonding glue. Go to lowes or home depot or whatever home appliance stores you have and tell them you need to seal a crack in plastic. They should point you in the right direction. Duct tape? haha. I dunno. If its really fine it may not have punctured the outside.

Thanks! I wasn't sure if the combination of the heat of the incubator and the bonding glue would create toxic fumes, so that's why I posted the question.
It's plastic, and I tried to take a photo of it, but it's in an awkward position and can't be seen.

What does the community think of this:
Clean it up real well, dry it. Put plastic wrap over the entire part.
Or you could call the mfg....sometimes they can be reasonable and kind.

Its only 100 degrees. I dont think it would give off toxic fumes. I have no idea though. And yeah definitely call Brinsea. Its worth trying to see if they will replace it. Couldnt hurt to ask.
