My guineas will not eat scratch grains, bird seed, millet, or even the mealworms I bought today. I threw a handful at them, they looked at the mealworms, and looked at me as if to say, "I'm not eating that crap, you eat it!". My chicks, however, love them. Could it be because they are French and a little snobbish? They will run the chicks off when I fill the feeder. They will eat when let out to free range (grass mostly as I haven't seen any bugs but they do scratch around looking though). Anyone else had issues like this? Are French and jumbo guineas the same?

Part of the charm of these little buggers is their alarm that goes off whenever anything out of the ordinary appears. Same goes for ANYTHING they aren`t used to. Give them some time, maybe mix a little with their familiar ration. French??? LOL........Pop

CBD........thats French for OMG.

(I can speak it, but I can't write it to save my life). They will get it. You just rocked their world.
