Finished...a nealy-free coop

Just wanted to introduce the flock now that I've had time to get photos:

For some perspective, the shed and Gammagrass clump in the foreground are 30' from where I am standing (at the house). The coop in the background is 120' away, and that is in the middle of the back yard, which has been split into 2 sections. The flock will be rotated between the front and back halves (and the dogs and goats will stay opposite the birds).

My other "flock". ;-) 2 La Mancha wethers...the tan one is a runt (nearly died after birth) and the black is crossed with Nigerian Dwarf. 2 dogs (only 1 pictured) and 4 young-uns (the boy was taking a nap).

Great photos, D-Monk. I envy you the space you have. SoCal has an easy climate but sadly an antagonistic legal approach to suburban poultry. I'd trade you 15 degrees of temp once in awhile for another 1000 sqft of free range space & ordinances that weren't so in our business.

Anyway, nice flock.
