Love the coop. You could just sit in your lawn chairs in the evening and enjoy them.

I bought some chairs just so I can sit out in that part of the yard and watch them. It was a part of the yard we didn't really use much and now it looks so great and has the chickens for amusement that I think we will use it all the time!

Beautiful coop. I'm wondering: Were those plans easy to follow? I've never built anything in my life. However, I do know how to use a hand saw & hammer nails. Or better yet, how 'bout you come to my house & build it? j/k

I was able to borrow a mitre saw and a jig-saw and with those in hand the cuts were all pretty quick and easy. With a hand saw I think it would be a little harder. I also put the whole thing together with screws and a drill instead of nails - so that was a little easier too.

I did need help holding the wire so I could hang it more easily, but really that was the only help I needed. I could never have done it without the plans - so I highly recommend them.

It looks great, congratulations! I'm also a single mum and built the Garden Ark myself - he writes excellent plans. You should be so proud of your work!
