I am having a problem with tapeworms. I just dewormed them yesterday with Zimecterin Gold and have read that a preventative measure for worms, is ACV (apple cider vinegar). I make fire cider. Fire Cider is ACV infused with tumeric, garlic, horseradish, peppers, lemon grass, and cinnamon. Has anyone tried this?

ACV isn't a preventative for worms. No one can provide scientific data to support their claims. I wouldn't bother putting ACV or your Fire Cider in their water. It may actually cause them to dehydrate and not drink their water.

I agree with Dobie. There is no scientific proof for the many claims made about ACV. :)

Chickens should always have unrestricted access to clean, fresh, PURE water without additives or adulterants.

In hot weather I periodically give my birds electrolytes, but always in a separate waterer. If you really want to try this mix, at least offer it separately.
