Fire Engine Red...Bad Idea (in more ways than one)

So I was at the Dollar General and saw this fire engine red nail "lacquer"

. For some reason I bought it. I don't even wear make up what am I doing buying something like this. Needless to say it looks like CRAP!

I went out to check on the chickens and I reach down to pet one and my nails were attacked! The chickens LOVE the red nails. It hurt really bad getting pecked by all those girls, but it was funny.

My favorite red is a color called "I'm not really a Waitress" by O.P.I

I rarely wear nail polish, but this is the one I love!

Southern, I had to laugh...im sorry.I can just see them all wanting the "red treat" LOL
I bought some nail polish that color ONCE. My DH said....Ohhhh no, you are NOT wearing "whore house red" LOL In the trash it went!

I am not a "girly girl", but I have been known to paint my toe nails hot pink out of boredom. I did it only once since getting chickens......

I like to have my toenails painted a pretty color - but on my hands it distracts me - I used to wear it now and then, now I just have too many other things to do than try paint nails!

I do like that color though, I think it looks pretty!
