first 2 eggs!!

Got the first one yesterday and then another one today! I think it's my maran, since she has the biggest and reddest comb, and I understand they start out small, but will the color get darker as well? The 2 on the right are from my hens, the left is store bought.

Our eggs seem to be getting larger, with an occassional double-yoke. I'm new to this, but I do hope they will lay bigger eggs after they mature a little more. Anyone else have some input on the size increase?

I know i've read here that they do get bigger once the hens get the hang of it, but I'm also wondering about the color...does it get richer or darker or is this the color I'm to expect from my maran?
