Hi all,
Well I'm very happy to announce the birth of our first 28 adorable Araucana babies.They are rumpless, tufted and gorgeous! My little giant incubator holds 42 eggs so that's 66%. I would have been happy with 50%!. I only have 4 hens so it took 13 days to collect 42 eggs. I marked the eggs of day 11, 12 and 13. With the exception of day 13 there wasn't much difference. They were all eating and drinking within 2 hours of birth and all seem to be happy and as healthy as can be.
