I am going to take a crack at trying to incubate a couple of eggs to try out this home made incubator. Before I start though, do different size eggs needs different temps? I have a couple banty and one EE and one BO/EE cross egg I am goin to try. What is the ideal temp for large vs banty eggs?

They both have the same temp. Its 99.5 or so i believe, and the humidity should be at like 50-60 i think. I dont quote me on it tho. GL .

Thank you, being a complete novice to this, I have questions too about terms I see used in this thread.

What exactly is PIP? I assume it means showing signs of cracking?

And what exactly is vaulting?

ummm i have no clue. LOL. im guessing vaulting is the samething as lockdown. which is basicly not opening the bator after day 18 till the hatch and dry. PIP is when they make the little whole they make to breath.
