After 22 and 1/2 weeks finally got our first egg. We had slowed to three eggs a day from our 6 Barred rock bantams. We have 4 22 and 1/2 week old Australorps and 2 EE's that are 19 weeks old. I thought we would never get any other eggs. Maybe this is the start to more eggs. The weather here has been over bearing. Like 40 days in a row of 100 to 115 heat index. This week has been in the low 90's with some rain mixed in. Almost feels like you can take a breath again. Anybody else have troubles with the heat this year?
