My first chick hatched at 10 AM yesterday and my fourth hatched today at around 2 or 3 PM. I was so excited to see them hatch right in front of my eyes!!! Although I need your guys' help on a brooder because I'm planning on taking them out either tomorrow night or Tuesday. My question is as a heat lamp, can I use any type of lamp like a 60W lightbulb or do I need a specific light bulb to keep them warm?

Here they are...

You could, but I normally use a red light because they can't see it and it makes it easier for them to sleep at night. and congrats on your new chicks! They're adorable :)

Thank you. And thank you. So the red light it is. And that's warm enough for day old chicks right?

The best way to know if the lamp is warm enough is to watch your chicks. If they huddle under the lamp, they're too cold - lower the lamp. If they are crowding away from the lamp, they're too hot - raise the lamp. Ideally, they'll be scattered about the brooder, peeping contentedly. Make sure your brooder is large enough that they can get away from the heat if they need to. I don't even use a thermometer. Watching the chicks will tell you what you need to know.

Temps at 95 for the first week, drop 5 degrees per week thereafter until feathered.
