First Baby chicks need advice/HELP

I have two
1-week old Jersey giants
and
2-week old --2-Buffs and 2 Easter eggers

there in a 3x5 trunk

Im feeding them the chick-feed, its non medicated,

do i need medicated?

should i put in a small tub of dirt?

when do i give them Grit?

when should i give them chopped up eggs and what else? strawberry tops?

do i need medicated? No, lots of people don't use it. It is designed to keep the growth of coccidia in check while the chick develops an immune response against them. If you have healthy, strong chicks and haven't had an issue before on your property, it is probably unnecessary. If you have had your chicks vaccinated against cocci then definitely do not use medicated feed as they work at cross purposes.

should i put in a small tub of dirt? You can do this now.

when do i give them Grit? When you start feeding them things other than their chick crumbles, such as treats.

when should i give them chopped up eggs and what else? strawberry tops? You can search the forum for "chick treats" and get a lot of suggestions. Remember no more than 10% of their diet maximum should be treats or their nutrition may be unbalanced. I start offering treats at about a week old (finely minced herbs and hot peppers).

Oh, if you mix in a bit of builder's sand (not play sand) in with your container of dirt, that will take care of the grit component as well as the dust-bath.
