First batch 100% hatch!!!

100% on first hatch?!?!?!

I'm on day 9 of first hatch and found 6 duds last night. I don't think they were fertile though
because they were totally clear. All the rest were swimming around in there. I hope they all hatch

Anyway, CONGRATS! Can't wait for pics

Awesome!! So far I've had a 60% hatch (12 of 20). Way to go! How many eggs did you set?

I set 12 eggs, 4 of them were welsummer crosses and the rest were barred-rock crosses. I can wait to try again but I need a bigger pen.

Wow great job! Now the first waiting game is over, and the much longer one starts.

The eggs came from my hens and I collected two days from those hens and set them. I used a Little Giant "still air" with an egg-turner.

I think that I have a leg-up in Mississippi because our ambient humidity is relatively high compared to a lot of areas. I used the dry incubating method.

I used they dry incubation method and got 100% hatch aswell!
