I had a staggered hatch going on for the first time. I got 6 Blk/Blue Orphingtons on Tuesday. A little late Silkie on Friday, 3 Speckled Sussex during the weekend. I had 6 Sussex make the cut at 10 days and I only got 3 to hatch. I am not sure but I think they may have drowned. 1 Pipped but there was some liquid sort of oz out of the whole. The other two did not Pip. I am happy tho, I don't need lots of chickens I just wanted a nice variety. If I am lucky I will be at least one pullet and one roo and he will be a nice boy.

I need to get some photos of the Sussex tomorrow, they are very cute little guys.

I set 8 more Silkies tonight. Ah I love this season.

awwww they are so I dont remember when mine were that cute and small. I miss having babies in the house.
