Update: 5 more chicks during the night....total = 17 chicks .....got 3 more to go this is day 22nd

All 20 eggs hatched from 29 i started with (9 were unfertile)....so that was a perfect hatch.....cleaned up the bator last night and set another 40 eggs, so today is day 1....hopefully the bator keeps it's hatching rate.

yep....this front brought down my temp to 98 on both bators, since i have them with light dimmers i already brought them back to 100 and have been steadyh for the last 3 hrs. since i dont have thermostat i'm going to check them thru the night to keep on chekcing their temps.....i think i'm gonna start an open range egg farm since a lot of folk look for "huevo de rancho" "ranch egg" here in the area.
