First Batch Of chicks For the Year!(The Peepers Legacy Line Continues!)

We had our first batch of babues born today! Spring has officially sprung here on Kozy Orchard Farms!

The honary first batch of chicks was hatched by none other than, Peepers Jr. These babies will be 3rd generation Peepers Babies which are half sisters to Peepers the 3rd who passed away last week.

I call this line, Peepers Legacy, since they are all descendants of my very first hen, Peepers! I am ow up to the 5th Generation of Peepers chicks.

They are all Seabright crosses and come in every color and shape! This batch has the first ever Feather Footed Peepers that wasn't a blue skinned silkie cross!

That's really cool that you've been able to keep the lines going! I want to do that someday too! And the birds are just beautiful! Especially that 5th gen pic, so cool looking!
