First big snow for new coop!

Chickens must be smarter than we give them credit for... I wouldn't go out in that either if I didn't have to! Coop looks lovely in the snow. I can picture your chickens standing in front of those windows, whining and clucking cause they can't go outside.

You are so right! They can see me in the kitchen window and because we have a monitor in there I can see and hear them banging on the hardware cloth with their beaks.

My little spolied girls are in Central Fl and have had heat lamps for the last two days.

I'm in love with your coop. Looks so pretty in the snow. We're expecting 8-12 inches for Christmas. Never a dull moment here in the midwest.

PS - My girls hate the snow too. Makes for a l.o.n.g. winter for them since sometimes we've got the white stuff Oct through April.
