first button

hatched my one and only button along with my coturnix eggs. i was scared to keep them together but he acted lonely and would snuggle in my cupped hand. i used part of a sock for him but he would only stay in it when i held him. i finally put the smallest coturnix in his box and now i find them snuggled up together and it seems happy. the only thing i was wondering by doing this will it still be possible to tame it for a pet? how long does it take for the feathers and to tell the sex?

wings feathers will grow in 3 days. they will be full of feathers in about 10 days

thanks. its growing fine. i had one smaller coturnix that i put with it and they are getting along fine.
