First call duckling of the year.

This is Daisy, my first call duckling of the year.. There was going to be 2, but one didnt make it to hatch...

Just before this was taken, the baby was sprawled spread eagle over pluto.. She got up when I took the pic....

How adorable I am still waiting for our fertility to turn around but love the little call ducks. Last fall we went and bought 2 baby chicks to be our call ducks friend due to it being the only one, that worked well until we had another hatch.

I thought about that, but I have no where to raise any chicks once the ducks want to start swimming.... I have another hatch due next week, so this one gets to have Pluto until then...

Oh good grief! that is so cute. I want calls, but i have a 'scovie problem.. they breed like rabbits..

I live over in Aberdeen and am trying to locate a call duck breeder. I am interested in approx 6 of them. Do you have any available or do you know anyone between where you are and Aberdeen that have them?

Nobody I now has any babies just yet... Ive got 2 and am expecting more to hatch in the next week or so...
