First chick from stock hatched!

I put in a few test eggs from my black marans, and one hatched this morning It looks like it might just be a blue marans!!

There is just nothing like hatching eggs from birds you have raised. I'll take some pictures later.

Congrats! Wish I had a bator, but I found a fellow BYCer in a nearby town who said he'll be glad to hatch eggs for me. What a blessing!
