Hi,
We received our first chickens from a family friend which are Australorps (maybe crossed), they are meant to be around 10 weeks old and not sure the gender of them. I have my suspicions on two of the bigger ones. The last two days one has been sort of crowing in the morning (not a full on crow but enough to wake us and likely the neighbours). I suspect the one with the orange eyes/yellow legs.

What does everyone think I have here?
Also is it possible for a pullet to crow and if so would it grow out of it?

BA should have slate black legs, so the yellow legged ones are possibly crosses or another breed.

Yes, looks like you may have some boys there.

Yes, a pullet can sometimes crow, but it's fairly rare; no, she would probably not grow out of it.

My guess:
Three males, one female (smallest comb)--based mostly on the last two photos, that each have 4 chickens in them.

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for your help.

I suppose looking at it now the three do have a lot of similiar looks and mannerisms compared to the 1 smaller pullet.
