First Chicks are Here

Well.. After about eight months of planning, the chicks are finally home.

This site has helped so much along the way... So thanks to everyone for the wealth of information you provide

The least I can do in return is post a couple of pics.

We settled on four chicks: 1 barred plymouth rock (Betty), 2 Easter Eggers (Bellina and Kelda), and 1 Welsummer (Alice).
All are well so far, and beginning to show their individual personalities.

Be careful! Having chickens is addicting!!! Have 15 in the coop, 5 in the brooder, and a dozen in the bator! Enjoy them, they are so much fun
