Awesome!!! I give my chicks sugar water for the first few days. 3 tbs of sugar to a quart of water. I guess it's like the Nutri drench.

That seems like a lot.

Nothing like Poultry Nutridrench which is a vitamin mix especially formulated for birds.

That's a lot of sugar. I have used sugar or agave nectar in water as a source of energy for weak chicks the first day to give them the strength to eat but not that much for that long.
I no longer do that since I now use Nutri-Drench.
And there is no comparison. Sugar is sucrose, nothing more.
Nutri-Drench second ingredient is molasses which is basically sugar but it also contains the essential amino acids lysine and methionine, vitamins A, E, D, thiamine, niacin, choline, the minerals calcium, zinc, magnesium, manganese, iron, copper, selenium and cobalt in a suspension that reaches the bloodstream within minutes.
The ingredient ethylenediamine dihydroiodide provides the element iodine and is used in pet foods to enhance rapid bioavailability of nutrients.
So rather than just provide an energy bump, it truly nourishes rapidly.
