Holy moley.. We started with one rooster and one hen in February. Today, we have hatched a total of 13 chicks. 8 via incubator and Mama brooding 5. Hatching began on Easter. They ALL look alike and we can't tell pullets from cockrells. My husband also added 5 other chicks into the mix bringing the grand total to 20 chickens. 😆

We had 2 splay leg chicks that we fixed with a rubber band and a straw. They are no longer showing any signs of it. Still unsure of what breed they are, the ones from our pair.

In 2 of the photos, you will see a Lone lil guy I call Smudge. The chick is grey and brown. If anyone knows what it might be, let me know.

Forgive me for not posting more, as they definitely keep me busy. We just moved our Rooster and Hen into a large coop we built and expect to move them all in when they are older.

Raising chickens is addictive lol

You have some golden laced sebrights in there, beautiful birds, and I’m not really sure on the other ones. You’ll find as you get more into chickens in will become even more addicting. Lol! Good luck with your chicks!
😆 thank you! We are waiting to see how many pullets we have to determine how to proceed from here.
