First coop

It's is my $150 coop.

I have more time than money into the project but its been fun, when its done it will look like one of the fire stations I work at.

I figure the worse case is I sell it on Craig'slist., Tomorow ill order the metal roofing and find some mistinted paint .

Have you read about chicken math?

I just experienced that chicken math thingy. Went to pick up my first 6 chicks from a breeder, when we got there she had chickens all over the place. I asked how many breeds she had and she said she thinks upwards of 30 different breeds. So the next question was "how long you been doing this?". She said 2 and 1/2 years, I thought oh no there goes that chicken math again. Needless to say my wife did not want to hear that.........
